Signing ceremony of the exhibition cooperation with the Museum of the autonomous region of the Choang people of Kuangsi, China

In order to intensify cultural exchanges and the friendship between the sino - vietnamese  peoples, on the pccasion of the annual summit of ASEAN+1, organized at Nanning, China, in October 2008, with the permission of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the assistance of the Department of Cultural Patrimonies, of the Department of International Cooperation and of the functional services, the National Museum of Vietnamese History, in coordination with the Museum of the autonomous region of the Choang people of Kuangsi, China, will organize the exhibition: The silk road on the sea - Ceramics and chinawares extracted from ancient vessels in the sea bottom of Vietnam in October 2008.

The tribune of Xa Tac is situated inside the citadel, in the west of the imperial palace, belonging before to the commune of Huu Nien (afterwards  phuong of Ngung Tich), and belonging to-day to the phuong of Thuan Hoa, city of
Hue.

Vietnamese ancient objects in exhibition in south Korea

 With the permission of the direction of the Ministry of Culture and Information (now Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism - Decision no 1988/QD-BVHTT), the Department of Cultural Patrimony, in coordination with the Department of International Relations, the National Museum of Vietnamese History, the Museum of Arts of Vietnam, the Ethnographic Museum of Vietnam, has cooperated with the National Museum of Korea in organizing the exhibition on the theme Life and Culture of Vietnam at the National Museum of Korea, in the capital Seoul - Korea, from February 2008 to the end of 2009.

Vietnamese ancient objects in exportation

 With the permission of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Cultural Patrimony, in coordination with the National Museum of Vietnamese History, the Museum of Arts of Vietnam, the Museum of Vietnamese Women, the Museum of Vietnamese History of Hochiminh-city and the Museum of Arts of Hochiminh-city, has transfered 171 ancient objects to Singapore to coordinate with the National Council of Patrimony of Singapore in organizing the exhibition entitled Vietnamese Festival of 2008 at Singapore on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of cooperation relations between Vietnam and Singapore.

LONG BIEN - A LAND RICH IN HISTORICAL - CULTURAL TRADITION

Long Bien is a newly created district, formed by detaching part of the territory and the population of the district of Gia Lam, situated between the left bank of the Red River and the right bank of the Duong channel. It is the administrative point of view, as for the historic/cultural point of view, Long Bien is a rather famous place, tied to many historic personnages and events since the time of the sisters Trung. Long Bien is a place where “the land is sacred and the people are heroes”. (Detail)

Within the coperated project of 3 indochina countries and
Sweden, the exhibition "Stories of Mekong river" was carring out from 2003 to 2010. Many workshops were annual organizing in 3 countries (Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia). (Detail)

Project of strengthening ties between the Museum, historical vestiges and Tourism

Lately, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh has signed the Decision nr 364/QD-BVHTTDL, ratifying the Project of strengthening ties between the Museums and the historical vestiges of the city of Hanoi with touristical activities in order to attract tourists toward museums and historical vestiges.
